APRIL GOALS

Wednesday, April 1, 2015

march was a good month. my goals were light yet stealthy and i'm proud of what i achieved. i got all three books read this month (so that means book report coming next week!) and we had addison's one year pictures done which turned out so good. i'll share those pictures on friday. i kept up with eating healthier though i know i can do better in this department and will always continue to strive for better. the fitbit has been helping me and reminding me to keep myself active so there were a ton of walks taken and gym time this month. i think we all enjoyed it and addison loves the daycare at the gym so she was all about my going there.

i've been cranking out projects left and right but just need to share more of them now. thing is i love making them but i'm always stumped as to how to style project pictures. so that's why more haven't been shared. i'll get there though. i wanted to get both guest bedrooms painted this month and that didn't happen but i'm okay with it. i got one of the guest bedrooms painted and found some very affordable painters to do the living room, front entry way, master bedroom and master bathroom. so i'm gonna call that a win.

the only thing that didn't happen were spring break invitations being mailed out. i was thisclose to doing them because we are having friends come down here next week and thought it would be fun but my idea took a lot longer than i thought it would so i put the invites on the back burner and never got around to it.

i'm pretty excited about april though! i can't wait to plant some tomatoes and hope they grow into beautiful juicy big guys so i can make salsa. i'm so happy that i'm back to reading too and i want to keep pushing myself to read more and more. also i've been trying to get up an hour before addison does in the morning so i can have some quiet time to myself. i've been loving it the last few days so i'm praying it sticks.

what are your goals for april (or spring)? i'd love to hear them!

  1. Sounds like you had a busy and productive March!!! I am with you on trying to get in as much reading as I can. And with the whole eating better but could do a lot better too. Why does getting older have to be so cruel? I hope you guys have fun when your friends come to town, cant wait for happy hour tomorrow!

    1. But seriously though I just inhaled a pizza. Alone. So you know...eating healthy is all relative :) See you tomorrow!
